prudsys AG has completed the most successful financial year of its history
The leader of the Data Mining technology prudsys AG has increased its sales volume over 60 percent and has finished the most successful financial year of its history.

Chemnitz, 12-23-2004
6 years after its foundation, the prudsys AG looks back at a successful year and celebrates 2004 as the year with the highest sales volume of the company’s history.

The Data Mining solution provider, founded in 1998 as Prudential Systems Software GmbH and belonging to the RWE Group today, could gain more than 25 national and international enterprises as new customers of its Data Mining solutions. These are such enterprises like BMW Financial Services, R+V Versicherung, RWE Rhein-Ruhr, Günther SKL, Atelier Goldner Schnitt, JPC Schallplatten Versand, 3 Pagen Versand, the online book trader Buch24 as well as some EDEKA subsidiary companies. As a result, the 25 heads counting team of prudsys gained a sales increase of about 60 percent compared to the year 2003.

“This exceedingly positive result of the financial year 2004 shows us that one can be successful with technological progress, customer oriented services and sophisticated solutions even in a time of limited IT budgets”, states Dr. Andreas Ittner, managing director of the prudsys AG.

Also in the university area the company from Chemnitz could strengthen its position. Since this year numerous universities from home and abroad, for example the Open University of the Netherlands and the University of Hong Kong, use the prudsys Data Mining solutions for lectures and courses.

The customers of the prudsys AG and all the other companies interested in Data Mining can expect further developments of the analysis solutions next year. So the prudsys DISCOVERER, the flagship of the prudsys AG, will be supplemented by further features like automation and regression analysis and the XELOPES Recommendation Engine will be upgraded by self-learning components.
